Pre-hockey and Advanced Skills

Jr Cyclones In-house Developmental League is for those who have passed the Jr. Cyclones Pre-Hockey class, or Hockey 2 and Stick and Puck which are taught through the Skate School.

Pre-Hockey:

Pre-requisite: Passing Hockey 2 is required. Participation in Stick and Puck Class is recommended.

Pre-Hockey is the very first step towards your skater becoming a full-fledged hockey player. Pre-Hockey will continue to develop the basic fundamentals of skating learned from the Skate School, with the added difficulty of full equipment, including sticks and pucks. Practices are USA Hockey and USFSA inspired to help new players fully embrace the USA Hockey American Development Model (ADM) Program.

Full equipment is required to participate in the Pre-Hockey class. Limited USA Hockey ADM rental equipment bags are available.

Advanced Skills:

Pre-requisite: Passing Pre-Hockey or Hockey 3 with Stick and Puck Class is required.

The Jr. Cyclones Advanced Skills course is the next step after passing the Pre-Hockey class. Advanced Skills is a great class for those who are looking to work on their skating and stick work skills before jumping to the Jr. Cyclones In-House program. It is also a great second practice for those involved with the Jr. Cyclones In-House program. Practices are USA Hockey inspired to help players fully embrace the USA Hockey American Development Model (ADM) Program.

Full equipment is required to participate in the Advanced Skills class.
